    1. [VAFRANKL] useful family trees?

    3. Having a late grandfather from Franklin County, I've been following list activities for a couple years now. As this seems to be a pretty savvy list with regard to the practice of geneaology (except for me), perhaps you can offer some suggestions on what products are available to print out a nice useful family tree. What do I mean by that? I've been using Family Tree Maker 5 for a couple of years now; while it is a decent place to store information, the trees it produces for printout are pretty anemic. I need something that will put 10 generations on a tree - including abundant database information - that I can format to whatever page size I want without having older generations or vital info clipped off. Since I've reached the point where I can't remember it all anymore, it would be nice to have hard copies of trees on hand that actually say something I want to know and share it with others, rather than having to go into the database to look for it all (And I'm not so keen on the "kennel-club lists" either, if that was the recommendation). Is anyone familiar with an out-of-the-box product available that will do what I want? If there is some concern about promoting particular products on the listserv, feel free to contact me directly at charlietiller@hotmail.com . Thanks, Charlie Tiller St. Paul, MN _________________________________________________________________ PC Magazine’s 2007 editors’ choice for best Web mail—award-winning Windows Live Hotmail. http://imagine-windowslive.com/hotmail/?locale=en-us&ocid=TXT_TAGHM_migration_HM_mini_pcmag_0507
