Elizabeth died after 1812 in Franklin Co., Virginia. Edward died before April 6, 1812 in Franklin Co., Virginia. Served in the Revolutionary War. Will dated December 20, 1803 and probated April 6, 1812 in Franklin Co., Virginia. Edward RICHARDS and Elizabeth STEWART had the following children: 2 i. Shadrack2 RICHARDS was born in present day Franklin/Henry Co., Virginia 1755. He married Susannah HAMILTON in present day Franklin Co., Virginia, October 28, 1779. Susannah was born present day Franklin/Henry Co., Virginia about 1758. Shadrack died May 7, 1827 in Franklin Co., Virginia. 3 ii. Charity Crump RICHARDS was born 1763. She married Charles STEWART in Franklin Co., Virginia, 1781. Charles was born in present day Franklin Co., Virginia about 1760. He was the son of James STEWART. Charles died October 29, 1833 in Macoupin Co., Illinois. Charity died 1838 in Gerard, Macoupin Co., Illinois. 4 iii. Nancy RICHARDS was born about 1770. 5 iv. Rhoda RICHARDS was born in present day Franklin/Henry Co., Virginia about 1772. She married Jesse WARREN Sr. in Franklin Co., Virginia, February 13, 1790. Jesse was born in Lunenburg Co., Virginia about 1770. He was the son of Thomas WARREN Jr. and Jane LUCAS. Jesse died July 14, 1840 in Robertson Co., Tennessee. Mentioned in fathers will. Rhoda died 1871 in Robertson Co., Tennessee. 6 v. Elizabeth RICHARDS was born about 1777. She married Wilson MADDOX April 11, 1796. 7 vi. Waitman RICHARDS was born in Henry Co., Virginia 1778. He married Sarah (Sally) HODGES in Franklin Co., Virginia, January 11, 1797. Sarah was born in Virginia about 1779. She was the daughter of Robert HODGES and Elizabeth ?. 1823 Mentioned in fathers will as Sarah Richards. Waitman died 1845. 8 vii. Susan (Susa) RICHARDS was born about 1778. She married Robert Augustus Cox JONES in Henry Co., Virginia, June 17, 1785. 9 viii. Edmund Hendley RICHARDS was born in Franklin/Henry Co., Virginia March 22, 1783. His body was interred in Macoupin Co., Illinois. He married Sarah Ann WARREN in Franklin Co., Virginia, March 22, 1802. Sally was born in Virginia September 12, 1783/88. She was the daughter of Zachariah WARREN and Agnes WHITE. Sally died 1840 in Macoupin Co., Illinois. Edmund died September 16, 1840 in North Palmyra TWP, Macoupin Co., Illinois.
