Happy Friday everyone!! I am looking for an ancestor of mine with the surname JOYCE. Her name was Mary and she was born ca 1815. She married into the Jones family, and I think she may have been born in Floyd or Patrick County, but she lived and most likely died in Franklin County, VA. Does anyone have any JOYCE lines?? Robert Bond and Samuel Ozburn were guarantors for a Franklin Co. bond dated 12 Oct 1796 for a marriage between Robert Bond and Anny Starkey. Below the section that states that there is no lawful cause for the marriage not to solemnized are the signatures of Robert Bond and Joshua Starkey. Robert was Robert Nicholas BOND, who had moved there from Fluvanna Co., son of Wiliam (Billy) BOND. Was Samuel Osburn a relative of either party? How is Joshua Starkey related to Anne Starkey?
