    3. Hi Steve, The Bishop Bible may have been the bible of John V. Bishop who's name is on the front page. The copies I received from the bible had no Bishop information. I don't know if the owner failed to sent me this information or if it just wasn't there. Anywhere, it's belongs to Carl M. Bishop of Charlottesville, Va. John V. Bishop m. Cora J. Tilman d/o Thomas W. Tilman and Mary Jane BRAGG. Moss inf. deals with Bragg, Tilman, some Moss. Any obit was also found for Mrs. Fannie (Bragg) Balitmore, wife of George W. Baltimore and Thomas W. Tilman. From what I can see, this bible may have belong to Benjamin H. Bragg and Lucy A. Macconie 27 Dec. 1848, since this is the first entry in the marriage family records. 1. [VAFLUVAN] BRAGG/ BARTLEY marriage
    2. Jim Bartlett
    3. Hi BRAGG researchers - I'm looking for a BRAGG who married Joanna BARTLEY/BARTLETT in Culpeper Co, VA; They probably moved to Fluvanna Co abt 1791 with her father, John BARTLEY. Joanna died before her father did in 1807; and ??? BRAGG probably remarried. I know this is sketchy, but I'm trying to stretch to find out which BRAGG she married, and who her children were. 1. RE: [VAFLUVAN] BARTLEYs of Fluvanna Co 1800 time frame
    2. Jim Bartlett
    3. Michele; Thanks for the info - every bit helps. Isabella and Meriwether BARTLEY were siblings. Their mother was Phoebe who was in 1810 Fluvanna Co census 21000-00110-03, with 4 ch. Phoebe 2m 15 Dec 1810 Fluvanna Co to Isham PARRISH who was in Hanover Co 1810 census. They were in 1820 Fluvanna census and then moved to Augusta Co by 1840. I've ducked Isabella's father's name - no one seems to know. John BARTLEY's 1807 Fluvanna Co Will lists "daughter" Phebe and grch Isabella and Meriwether "BARTLETT". Some think Phebe is John's dau and that she m a BARTLETT; I think Phebe is a dau-in-law. In either case her first husband's name (first or last) is not known (although the last name is probably BARTLEY, but may be BARTLETT... it's definitely BARTLEY in the census and the marriage to PARRISH. Sally M is sometimes listed as CREASY, sometimes GREASY - I tend to CREASY. There should be one or both in the 1810 Fluvanna Co census where she would be 12 years old... I'll look. I've seen Thomas BARTLETT in the 1787 Fluvanna Pers Prop Tax List 0,0,2,0,0 (2 slaves); but have no other info about him - does anyone else??? I've seen John BARTLETT in the 1800 list 1,7,4,2 - another "floating" record - although John BARTLEY had brought his family to Fluvanna Co by 1791, so this "could" have been one of his children... actually it could be John BARTLEY himself - any other records for John??? Thanks again for some very detailed record info - it helps a lot. Happy New Year. 2. Hi to the list If any of you subscribe to other lists, you may see this message in other places.! Well it is a new year and time to once again ask if there are connections and new cousins out there? Looking for Samuel [T.?] Robertson, probably lived and born in Buckingham ca 1810. He married Sarah (Sallie) Kidd in Fluvanna Co., 1853. I suspect he was from the area across the James River not far from Fluvanna and possible near New Canton or just across from a place called Hardware where the Hardware dumps into the James. There was a mill there (Kidds Mill) and a ferry across the river. This is of course, speculation only, I also suspect his Robertson kinfolks are connected to the Maxey line. This again is speculation. I am pretty sure his father is not Elisha, and wonder if could be a James or William. I am also thinking about starting a Robertson/Robinson/Roberson news letter. At this time it is just thinking!. Please contact me privately if you have any thoughts on either of the above. Alice in Fluvanna

    2. Dear Debbie, I have Webb and Marks in my Johnson family. My gggrandfather William Johnson married Silestine Webb in 1871 after the death of his first wife Mary Hopkins. They had children but only know the name of 1 Robert Johnson. William's sister married Griffen Marks do not know date, her name was Sallie A. Johnson. Do you have either of these in your Marks or Webb. I think Silestine was from Louisa. Thanks Barbara

    3. Hi List, My ggrandfather Joseph Johnson Harlow, son of George William and Mary J. (Beach) Harlow was b: Jul. 31, 1874 in Albemarle Co., Va. Joseph married Lelia Anne Houchins, daughter of Robert M. and Emily F. (Beach) Houchins. Joseph worked for the railroad and died of typhoid fever contracted on the job and is buried in the Houchins Cemetery at Lake Monticello, Cunningham, Fluvanna Co., Va. Since his middle name is Johnson, I'm interested in making the connection with the Johnson line. Other surnams are Harlow, Houchins, Johnson, Chiles, Mills/Milles, Flannagan, Bunch, Dotson, and names go on and on. Any help would be appreciated. Also, Joseph's wife, Lelia Ann Houchins, dau. of Robert M. Houchins. I'm interested in Robert's middle name, too. I have Robert M., Robert Mills, Robert Milles, and also a document that has his middle initial as H. Help!!! Bebe
