OBIT - EPPERLY, CECIL GARFIELD Roanoke Times, The (VA) - April 15, 2007 Cecil Garfield Epperly, 71, of Roanoke, passed away, Friday, April 13, 2007. He was born in Roanoke on November 11, 1935 to the late Calip and Laurena Epperly. Cecil is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Gary Epperly, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Epperly of Roanoke; a daughter, Lisa Davis and her husband, Steve of Salem; a son, David Epperly and his wife, Melissa of Roanoke; a stepson, Daniel Taylor of Vinton; four grandchildren, James, Danielle, Thomas and Matthew; two stepgrandchildren, Ginny and James; two brothers, Thurman Epperly and Curtis Epperly, both of Roanoke; a sister, Ruby Hartman of Front Royal; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 15, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home, 1001 Franklin Rd. SW. A service will be held on Monday, April 16, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Lotz Roanoke Chapel with Rev. James Milner officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
