I'm researching how to get in to the DAR and one item they said qualifies is if your ancestor took an Oath of Fidelity to the Commonwealth of Virginia. Does anyone know how to access this information or how to find where that kind of information would be reported? Thanks for any assistance! Sharon, I think you have to prove that your heritage had a member who served in the Revolutionary war and the decedents down to you. You would just trace your heritage.
