My sister-in-law and her husband live in North Pole, Alaska. They loved it and now thinking about moving back u[ there. Helen (my sister-in-law) did a lot of art work when there . When they had the BIG earth quake, she went and dug up the clay that the quake was pushing up, she made pottery things out of this clay, when fired it turned into beautiful colors. I have a few of the things that she made and sold there. Herhusband Don, retired from the telephone company a few years agp and that is why they moved. They raised their two sons there and have wonderful memories of living there. I have alot of the pieces that was made from the clay up there, we also went gold panning and I have a few little pieces of gold that we found. The sking was great and the trips to Circle and all was gorgeous, especially in the fall when the trees were turning. We were stationed there and my husband still wants to retire there. He loves it there. We are a little older now so walking on snow and ice isn't the greatest thing for us right now. The Alaska Dividends were wonderful while we were there. I would go back in a minute to visit. We still have some friends who live in North Pole and would love to visit them again. check out my ebay store and auctions: Moorekids Thanks, Bonnie Moore > Date: Wed, 13 Feb 2008 14:54:45 -0800> From: lmqh@sbcglobal.net> To: vafloyd@rootsweb.com> Subject: Re: [VAFLOYD] jeanne> > My sister-in-law and her husband live in North Pole, Alaska.
