    3. There is no Pulaski in Floyd, it is in Pulaski County, right next door to Floyd County. I was born in Pulaski (town), Pulaski Co., VA. I have your Joseph married to Thursey on June 11, 1851 in Pulaski county. And have two children only: James F. born Dec. 31, 1853 and Martha P. born in 1856. For neither do I have a spouse. I don't know if this is correct but I have Joe's parents as James and Elizabeth ?surname Quesenberry and Joe has 8 siblings. This may have come from studying the censuses for Pulaski Co., but not sure. Not my lines. -----Original Message----- >From: "Mrs. Hackney" <lmqh@sbcglobal.net> >Sent: Feb 6, 2008 5:47 PM >To: vafloyd@rootsweb.com >Subject: [VAFLOYD] Searching for Joseph Quesenberry > >Hello List Members, > I am looking for the parents of this Joseph Quesenberry. He was originally from Pulaski County, Va but may have later resided in Fayette County, Va. He enlisted on May 2, 1863 and was a Private in Co. I. Joseph was mortally wounded in battle (probably Chancellorsville) and died from his wounds on June 12, 1863. His wife was Thursey Quesenberry (later Carper). If anyone has any additional information or knows where he is buried. >********************************** >Note from List Administrator!!! >The Second Sunday in each month will set aside for a "Brick Wall" Roll Call.
