Paula, Thank you for sending the link. I've read the first 2 chapters and as they say , "it's hard to put down". I have always been curious about how the various families of the county became associated with their choice of political parties. I always figured it was rooted somewhere in the civil war but after reading the first two chapters I still see no pattern . Maybe someone else , on the list , has done some research or knows more about it.
