One meal my family loves is Pinto Beans, Fried Potatoes and Cornbread. Of course the beans have to be cooked with "fat meat" or a "ham bone" and the Cornbread has to have a bit of bacon grease added to it. WOW what a flavor??? I prepare this meal at least twice a month. There has to be onions and real butter on the table. I have a really hard time trying to stop cooking like my Mother did, but it is just to hard to change.
