We drove by the Fish House in Hillsville today and it does seem to be closed. We went to the Chinese restaurant next to the Interstate, however, and had an awesome lunch!! The food is really great. We are so pleased because we hated to leave our favorite restaurant behind in Florida. Now, we feel at home! We are official Virginians now. We have a PO box and bank account in Hillsville. We also got ALL that trash hauled off (that the previous owners left us...) It took three BIG loads in the pick up truck carried out to the land fill. Nothing like dumping trash in 29 degrees with the snow blowing! At least now, my Florida children know what they are in for in the winter up here...ha! Can't wait until summer when we can finally get moved up and settled in!! (And of course, it will be warmer!)
