It is in the SW part of Virginia, west of Floyd and east of Galax. If you come straight up interstate 77 from North Carolina, we are located at exit 14. Drove on down to the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday and spent a little time in Meadows of Dan, shopping at the wonderful country store they have there. It is worth the drive as the view is beautiful and the store is a real treat. Bought my kids some licorice drops and got my husband a couple of pieces of what he calls "streaky meat" (also known as "side meat.") Now here's your country trivia for today--who knows what in the world you do with "side meat?"
