June Vest is my aunt. I see her out walking a lot in warm weather. Her husband ,Milton Vest was my mothers only brother. They had seven kids . One daughter and six sons. My mom was the oldest child. Her name was Iva Merle Vest Hawley. Yes I have seen the house thar grand dad owned since they fixed it up. It was a three story house with some of the most beautiful wood work I ever saw. After grand dad died, Milton and June bought it. After Milton passed, it was just a big old house and all the kids were gone so June sold it and bought a trailor and lived there for a good while then she moved up here so Larry could help her. She loves her little apartment and even said if she ever won the lottery she would give it to someone else so she could keep her apartment. Their kids are all over. Ralph, the oldest also retired from the service.Robert still lives in Floyd. Cecil is in a nurseing home in Blacksburg. Larry is here in Pulaski and works for the county. Elvin is the one who is in Irag working for one of the American contractors. Melvin, his twin is the one who is still in the service and lives in NC. Mary the youngest lives in Pilot.
