    2. John Ford
    3. Carlisle: I am a misfit. Both my mother and father were raised up in Washington County, Virginia. She was in Radford College and he was working for the Norfolk & Western Railroad in Radford. They got married and lived around Radford from the early 1920's. My father was adopted, but he was from the Dunns in North Carolina. My mother is from the Mann / Handy / Taylor / Lewis clans, also of Ashe county, North Carolina. My wife is Addie Lovell, daughter of Albert and Nora Baker Lovell. Albert was born in Dry Valley. His parents were William Thomas & Sarah Addie Phlegar Lovell. Tom was from Pulaski county, and Sarah Addie was from Floyd. Tom and Sarah are buried at the Laurel Hill Church of Christ above Meadow Creek in Dry Valley. Addie's mother (Nora) was the daughter of Fugate Lee and Sarrah Branson Baker, both from Carroll county, Virginia. That's our connection. John in Ohio John L.
