my mother in law told me about that place last time I was up there. We plan to give it a try on this trip. I also love the fish place in Wytheville--Blue Bay or something like that...best hushpuppies in the world, and that is saying alot considering the fact that I have lived alot of my life down here in Florida!! Funny that I would find my favorite sea food place in the mountains. Just gotta watch out for those "mountain oysters" though...he,he,he Ate those once before somebody told me what they were...eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew... I will agree that the food is good at the Family Fish House in Hillsville. You have the location correct, however, it is under new management. Wish we lived a tad closer to it. I understand the Family Fishhouse has closed and is for sale. The food at 3 cheers is really good. However it is more of a bar and game room setting---I do pick up----I have a nephew (Aaron) and a couple of his friends working there now---one used to work at the fisr house too. Rumor has it we are expecting a Cracker Barrel here again!??
