Paul, The names looked so closely spelled that I just had to ask IF it couild be. My Samuel was born in Vermont Sept, 1800 and on his marriage cert. his name is spelled Sherburne and this was in Vermont in 1826. He married Philinda George. This is why I was named Linda, Philinda was called Linnie. These are my GG grandparents on my grandmother Quesenberry side of the family. Grandma Carrie Ousterhout Quesenberry married John William "Price" Quesenberry, S/O William & Eva Jane Slusher Quesenberry. Could you follow all that? This genealogy takes a lot of time amd researching in so many places.
