Lois...I dont remember that book in first grade in Wise Co, but I remember the writing books..(more like a pamphlet) it was about 8 pages and showed how to make ovals and "push-pulls" and showed all capital and lower-case letters and the corrrect way to form them...I am the worlds worst cursive writer but am a pretty good speller...Did you ever have a 3rd grade teacher named Mrs, Schaffer? she had a bit of a lip mustache... maybe she should have changed her name to Shaver....hee, hee......Paul keep the mail comin' to Ole Paul
