Hi Opaldeen, I live in Columbia, TN which is about 40 miles south of Nashville. Been in TN the better part of the last 27 years. I was born and raised in Akron, Ohio. My grandfather was Lindsay Elmer SISSON, 1877 FCVA; d: 1947 Akron, OH. He was son of David Sloan SISSON, b: 1833 Botetourt, VA; died 1915 FCVA. David was son of Ludlow Branham SISSON b: 1797 Rockbridge Co., VA; d: 1886 Locust Grove, FCVA. So I have Floyd roots on both sides of my father's family,though my father, Albert D. SISSON was born in Roanoke. Sorry to say that I haven't been in Floyd since I was a young child. Hope to change that sometime soon. Another MUNCY post mentioned the "MUNCY book". I have only seen excerpts and have a few copies of pages and it makes the family clear as mud. Too many Francis, Nathaniel, Samuel, Luke and other repeating names. Mom, Well, I was wrong Joe does think he is too old to go to the camp because the cut off age was 12----unless Morgan goes----. I think he is more interested in spending time with you and Morgan than the camp. I wonder if having the 2 of them to visit you at the same time might be a good idea.
