Published April 27, 2004 MARY ELLEN EPPERLEY LINKOUS PULASKI - Mary Ellen Epperley Linkous, age 85 of Pulaski and formerly Dublin passed away Sunday, April 25, 2004 at the New River Valley Medical Center. Born April 6, 1919 in Pulaski County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry Epperley and Nancy Cora Bowers Epperley. Her husband Harless "Smokey" Clifton Linkous preceded her in death and also four sisters, Estelle Covey, Dora E. Dunagan, Emma Stump, and Lura Smith, and three brothers, Marion Epperley, Eldridge Epperley, and Thomas Epperley. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Randy Winn officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin. The family will receive friends an hour before service time. Bower Funeral Chapel, Pulaski is handling the arrangements.
