Harvey Nester made a flying trip to Snowville last week. We are expecting a wedding in this neighborhood soon. BLIND TOM (November 20, 1902) ============= WEDDLE WINKS Nuton Hylton has moved to his new house. Harvey Nester, our photographer, is doing very good work. Nat DeHart of Tuggles Gap passed here recently. Mr. Nester, our noted trapper, caught a beaver on a small stream near here last week that topped the scales at 30 pounds after being dressed. Mr. Arlie Dillon was in the neighborhood last week selling washing machines. JUST ONE May 1 (1903) ============ INDIAN VALLEY ITEMS Eating cherries seems to be the order of the day. Miss Velta Young has gone to W.Va. Hope she will return soon. Misses Mabel and Hazel Slusher, Gertrude and Ella Phillips, Helen Cox, Lura Layman, Cyltie Dalton, Zola Cox, Zora Bond, Lola and Lillie Mae Duncan, Rollie Phillips, Otis Phillips, Jessie Layman, Taylor Mitchell, Will Phillips, Avia Young, Leslie Dalton and Kermit Dalton went to the Buffalo the fifth Sunday.
