Connie, I live in Florida, too, and my two plants are on the patio inside the screen enclosure. I've read that it is necessary to water those things every day and sometimes twice a day. I got some Miracle Gro, and am using that as well. I planted mine a couple of months ago,so there's still hope for them, but I have some brown stalks, too. I've gotten one or two small tomatoes off the Big/Better Boy and a half dozen cherry tomatoes off that plant. Got to improve a lot before I mess with them next year. I've got one outside, a conventionally planted Big Boy, for comparison. Jerry
