Jack, I don't know if this is a help.... I looked in my Bolt files and find Robert Bolt, Sr. and wife, Elizabeth, had a second child, John, born 6 June 1750. They are shown in Northern Neck, Fauquier Co., VA Deed Book 1, page 389. Other mention is made of Bolt males and both John and Robert are in Henry County 1780 and 1782. John's father and some other brothers migrated to Ninety-Six District, SC. No mention of John having a sister, or sisters, but a possibility? (John is later shown in Wythe [Grayson & Carroll]. He married 2nd in Patrick Co., and is buried in Floyd County, near the Carroll line. It's from this marriage that I descend.) Perhaps this might be a bit of a lead?
