Jack, I cannot help you just now, but shall suggest Carroll County might be a likely spot for their marriage (or whatever Carroll County might have been that year). The Bolts lived in that area of Floyd, Carroll & Patrick, and I've found them an elusive bunch. My Bolt ancestor who married Slaughter disappeared in 1847 and I cannot find her anywhere after that date. More at a later time, I hope.
