Glenn, I was trying to get some of the Floyd List together on May 23rd, at the Odd Fellows Lodge Hall, in Floyd, [ on Route221 N, maybe a 1/2 mile from the stoplight, between Stellar Bank and The Floyd Press building, across the street from Floyd Pharmacy] I guess you could call it a PICNIC or a GET TOGETHER, Jeanne Mower,that belongs to the Floyd List, from Bend Oregon, is going to be visiting Floyd County at that time and [would love to see the friends from the Floyd List] I thought it would be nice to get together and bring a covered Dish and have a meal together and just" TALK". It is just a simple gesture to get some of the group together. I would like to hear from others that would like to come.     3. I am so excited to be finally on my way to Floyd. And thank you to my cousin, Mary, for planning a picnic. Some of you know that I stepped into a hill of red fire ants a few weeks ago and I was stung on one foot more than 50 times. I have neuropathy so I didn't know what was going on at first. Anyway, I have had to delay leaving my daughter's home in Texas so I could take antibiotics and make sure they didn't start any bad infections. I am traveling in an old RV, and can't take chances. Well, the blisters have all broke and scabbed finally and are looking good, so I will be leaving here in the next day or two. I can hardly wait to meet you all!!!!     3. Mary, I would love to be there but it is short notice and I already have plans/commitments. I know it was discussed some time back but no date or time was ever put out, so maybe next time. Hope you have good response and someone takes pictures and shares. Would love to put the faces to our Floyd List family.     3. We (Nancy and I, plus possibly a daughter and grandson) will be there May 23rd. Will someone recommend a good deli in or around Floyd where we can get something nice to bring? I don't anything would survive the 7-hour drive from Maryland in a minivan with busted A/C. Glenn
