    3. Since we seem to be on the subject of food, I'd like to ask if anyone knows where to find the following. Back when I was young, some 80 years ago, Both sets of my grandparents lived in the Floyd and Montgomery county area. Both of my grandmothers had very large gardens. They grew what I would call "ORIGINAL" type corn. This was before they had introduced mechanical corn pickers. At that time the corn would have multiple ears up to 6 or 8 ears per stalk. After commercial corn pickers were intorduced the corn was modified to have only 2 ears per stalk at the correct height for the picker to harvest. Up until the 1950's I could find this type of corn from some seed companies. If anyone knows where to find a seed source I would like to hear from you. You can see the advantage of increasing the yeild of even a small garden. =\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\= Charlie says: GENEALOGY is the study of life in the Past Lane =\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=\=
