They are both buried at Westview Cemetery in Radford. Charlie was the son of Adolph and Amanda Jane Fetters Wurzburger. Adolph was born in Baden Baden, Germany. They had one other son, Lawrence (Lars) Grover Wurzburger. Adolph and Amanda are buried at Big Sand Cemetery, Floyd County, Va. Old man Charlie was a blacksmith, among other things. As he told it, if you would add up all his work experience, he would have been 300 years old. Yes, I knew Charlie and Josie. I knew them very well. My first job was helping Charlie in his blacksmith shop. Charlie and Josie had 6 children: 1. Charles Wilson Wurzburger Sr., born 4 Jan 1924, dies 7 Oct 1992. He married Mary Lou (Sue) Ford, my niece. She was born 19 Feb 1929 and died 22 Dec 1978. They are buried in Westview Cemetery in Radford. They had 3 sons, 2 of which are still alive. Gil died recently. He lived on the Montgomery/Floyd County line. 2. Ruby Wurzburger married Alfred Duncan 3 Evelyn Wurzburger married Edward (Eddie) Small. They had children. 4. Rosie Wurzburger married Jack Smith. 5. Lucille Wurzburger, born 19 July 1926 married Joe Howell. They had 2 daughters, Dottie Jo born 16 June 1947 and Judy born 16 Feb 1953. On 18 May 1954 Joe Howell murdered Lucille, Dottie Jo and Judy, then killed himself. They are all buried at Westview Cemetery in Radford. 6. Loma Fay Wurzburger born 1931 married Guy Mills. They had one daughter (still alive). Guy murdered Loma Fay then killed himself (in 1954). The daughter apparently witnessed the shootings. Charlie and Josie raised the girl after that. Much of this information is first-hand, and some from my grand nephew - a grandson of Charlie and Josie. I have newspaper clippings for the murders.
