> John...I worked with a Wurzburger lady in Radford at Burlington > Mills...she lived on Rock Road in a small home on a knoll very close to > the road...she was a weaver at the Mill.....was she Josie? > Paul > Paul: Probably was. Josie worked every day, and I think she worked at the mill. Jocie was a short woman with a chunky build. Very nice lady. They lived on old route 11 (Old Highway) about 1/2 mile from Huttontown, just up the road from the gypsy camp. The first house (frame house) was Joe and Lucille Howell's house. Directly behind them was a very small cabin-type house. I kind of remember part of it being log. Everything in the house was built low since both of them were short. Further back and up on the side of the hill was his blacksmith shop. When did you work at Burlington? I had an aunt and uncle retire from there - Jim & Pearl Whitt. They lived directly behind the mill on Clement Street. My (foster) brother also worked there for years. He was Buddy Ford. John
