Sorry, no marriage in Franklin County for John Nofsinger. Franklin wasn't formed until 1786 so he possibly married prior to that year. Or else, I have found lately that there are a lot of the old records that were lost or misplaced and a researcher will need to check every possible source, not just the registers and records in the courthouse but the Archives at LVA as well. I've been working in Henry County and there are a lot of records for marriage bonds but the marriage was not recorded in the Marriage Register, a few vice versa. There is also a book of Ministers' Returns there and I haven't gotten to that one yet but I do believe I may find more information in that. As far as I know Franklin County doesn't have any Minister's Returns but I'll be looking for them soon.
