September 11- Regular meeting of the Forum - The Bedford Museum Genealogy and History Forum will hold its regular monthly meeting second Saturday September 11 at 1:30PM at the Bedford Museum and Genealogical Library, 201 East Main St., next door to the court house. The meeting will be on the third floor (elevator provided) and is open and free to everyone. Kitty Buford Pendleton will be our guest. Kitty was part of the last Buford family to live in the historic Buford home "Locust Level". The home is on Rt. 460, in the curves just west of the fuel tanks at Montvale. Kitty will talk about her days living there, the history of the home and the condition now. She also has a great desire to see the cemetery restored and will tell of the large stone brought from the Peaks of Otter to the cemetery. If time allows we will continue our discussion of obscure community names. The list is growing and everyone enjoys this discussion.
