The bc that I am looking for is for a Bennet Larkin Harris born 4/7/1873 in Floyd County Va. I can find his birth listed in Ancestry.com but what I am really looking for is his fathers name. Some records show his mother as Mary Harris some list her as Mary Ann F. Harris. I can't really continue with my search unless I can find out who his father was and verify who his mother was. All relatives on that side of the family have passed so I have no one to go to. I got a copy of his death cert from but it lists his father as "Mr. Harris" and his mother as "Miss Harris".
