I am trhying to find information on the parents and siblings of Mattie Alma Hatcher who married Armstead A. Boothin Nov 1887 in Floyd Co. I think I found them in the 1880 Little River Dist on Pages 21 & 22, but am not positive. It list her father as Ewar C. Hatcher and I was given the name of Edwin Hatcher. Also found them listed in the Floyd Marriage register as list on the Floyd web site.It list him as Edwin Hatchwer 36 yrs and Della Emeline Lester 18 yrs, married Nov 23, 1862. the 1880 census lissts 10 children of which about half I could not make out their names. Nov 23, 1862 FCVA to Edward C. Hatcher, wid., b. 1826 Bedford Co., s/o Thomas F. & Caroline N. Hatcher; 11 children. The Hatchers lived somewhere north of town, probably near Beaver Creek. Edward Hatcher was not a landowner. They disappeared from the county after the 1880 census and it is assumed they moved to another county or state. Children, all b. FCVA 5a. Burgoyne B.
