It's been less than 3 weeks since the surgery where they took out the entire right lung, the diaphragm and a rib (for access). The cancer was contained to the lung. My doctor told me Wednesday that this was the slowest-groving cancer there is, so that's good. I am released to do anything I want to do , within reason, except lifting. There are quite a few things I DON'T want to do. I can do stairs, walk, drive and eat. > >It's not over. In a couple weeks I have to go back for a PET scan and MRI. OMG...I was just wondering the other day where he'd been! We were out driving on the Linn Cove Viaduct and the main reason I wanted to see it was because of the wonderful DVD he and Addie brought us when they visited! I am SOOOOO sorry to hear this. Thanks so much for sharing this info. Hope he gets well soon!!!
