Kat, the broken pipe was supposed to happen to you so you could find the good help you need. So, the house will start looking like a home soon but not soon enough for you I am sure. Don't forget the housewarming party you will need to have. With the stream outside, you can drop the watermelons in it and get them nice and cold! So much better than the refrigerator. We are heading to Florida by the weekend. I am taking warm clothes and cool clothes, who knows what the weather will do this winter. Today, here in Md. it was short sleeve warm but windy. I loved it. No, I had an aunt whose maiden name was Akers. But I had the wrong time period. She had an uncle named Floyd Akers born about 1882 whose parents were Wilson Wade and Sarah Sally Duncan. So I made a mistake. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Sonia" <zoomastr@earthlink.net> To: <vafloyd@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, January 07, 2008 7:36 PM Subject: Re: [VAFLOYD] Julia Ann Akers > Are you related??? Kat, Keep up the stories...we need something light to dwell on this winter...enjoy your stories so much. Still can't get your train adventure out of mind and think I would love to do one sometime! Good Luck with house renovation. Phoebe "This is the day the Lord has made: we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 "A friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart"
Kat Please don't stop keeping us informed..I enjoy reading the updates and hearing about your migration. Sounds like maybe an early house warming peach cobbler may be in need soon..
