My grandfathers name was James Irvin Jones--born in Floyd cty, Va in 1892 son of Rush Floyd and Panthea Graham Jones also of floyd Cty, Va. Eventually he moved to Radford and worked for the railroad.? His first wifes name was Inez ( maiden name Howe or Howell--we think).? She died in 1930 and is supposedly buried in the Central Cemetery there in Radford.? I was told that her brother served as the chief of Police in Radford during the 30's and 40's.? No other info is available except they had at least 1 child named Virginia born about 1915.? I am researching the Hawley name and I have heard from Wayne but he doesn't have any information on my Lucritia Ann Hawley born 9/7/1842, married James H. Simpkins in Pulaski Co., 10/19/1859 and died 7/8/1911. Need information on parents of Lucritia and siblings.
