Rena ----- Original Message ----- From: Phil Pratt <prattpw@comcast.net> To: doreatr@rbnet.com Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2008 7:40 AM Subject: Reeds on Floyd County Area Rena- Good morning. I am researching the Reeds in my genealogy. Can you tell me if there are any others doing so, please? My line includes, Mark Anthony Reed, George W Reed, Altizers, Burgesses, and others. Also, The Floyd County area seems to have been a 'collecting point' for Reeds. Are there any Reed histories, Reed historians, or Reed lore into which I can tap? I frequently travel to northern Virginia on business. I would like to visit Floyd County. Maybe there is a distant cousin with whom I could talk. Thank you and Best regards, Phil Pratt Colorado Springs, CO
