Glenn, Coming from Maryland, you will likely be arriving on route 8. Just before you get to Floyd on your left is THE BREAD BASKET. Just don't lose your head in there with all her goodies! Also, at the light in Floyd, turn right and Food Lion is just a block down. And Mary mentioned Slaughter's Supermarket about a mile further. They are great. I wish I could be there, but financially I can't make it. My youndgest sister's son is paying my way on and Alaskan Cruise the last of June. I am so excited to be finally on my way to Floyd. And thank you to my cousin, Mary, for planning a picnic. Some of you know that I stepped into a hill of red fire ants a few weeks ago and I was stung on one foot more than 50 times. I have neuropathy so I didn't know what was going on at first. Anyway, I have had to delay leaving my daughter's home in Texas so I could take antibiotics and make sure they didn't start any bad infections. I am traveling in an old RV, and can't take chances. Well, the blisters have all broke and scabbed finally and are looking good, so I will be leaving here in the next day or two. I can hardly wait to meet you all!!!!
