I believe she is the sister of the Hannah that married Joseph Bailey. Henry Newby died in 1781 and leased land, his rent the next year was paid by his wife Eliz. The following year by Geo Rogers who in his will in mentions his Dau Betty Newby. Both Nancy and Hannah evidently were of age when they married and the only time that Betty is mentioned is when Sinah her dau marr. Robert Gibson. Wm lived most of his adult life in Fauquier but fell on some difficult times and died in Culpeper County where he resided with his son Armistead. They had 2 other sons Tomblin who marr. Ann Claggett , dau of Dr.Samuel and Ann Ramey Claggett , ANd Presley Armistead and Presley were twins.
