    1. William BALL, son of William and Martha (Brumfied)
    2. Linda Sparks Starr
    3. Again, my major source for this information is _Ball Cousins_ by Margaret Kinsey, 1981 Gateway Press. William was probably the youngest son of William and Martha, and was probably born in Pennsylvania about 1762. He had moved to Virginia before 9 Feb 1788, the date of his marriage to Ann Keas, daughter of Margaret Keas, with Isaac Keas as witness. [Fauquier Co. VA Marriage record] William probably died before 1800. Ann Ball was shown as head of household on the 1810 census for Fauquier Co. [p. 166 Kinsey] It is possible that he was the "William who started an iron furnace in Falmouth VA and died before he finished and his son had to complete it." Kinsay adds "That was a tradition published in Virkus that had a wide circulation." Their children: Elizabeth Ball Potter -- shown on 1826 list as "Elizabeth Potter" but original affadavits with the Ball Collection at the PA Historical Society shows her as unmarried. Neither she, nor descendants, shared the distribution of Joseph's estate. Aaron H. Ball b. 1792 died 1833 in Stafford Co. Virginia per another affadavit within the Ball Collection. He married "Elizabeth" who was living in 1850 in Stafford Co. with son James H. and daughter & son-in-law Hezehiah and Ann P. Potts. John b. abt 1793 m. 2 Dec 1812 Fanny Pittman in Carolina Co. Virginia. He died 11 Jan 1857 in Clark Co. KY. William b. 1798 Fauquier Co. VA d. 1860 Henry Co. KY. He married Barbara Hall of KY
