June <Cpzb4@aol.com -- Thank you very much for your scholarly research. I thought the following information might be of help to you on Eliza Letitia Steptoe Clarkson Marshall's grandmother Dorcas (TURNER) Clarkson. Is it possible that my ancestor William Toliver Turner and her neighbor Eliza Marshall were cousins through Dorcas (TURNER) Clarkson? First, William was the manager of the Marshall farm. Secondly, some of his children were born at Eliza's home. Thirdly, the court appointed Eliza's brothers-in-laws surnamed Marshall to assess the personal estate of William Toliver Turner who died young and intestate in about March 1865. Please see Joanne Calvert's email herein which contains the genealogical information on Mrs. Eliza L. S. C. Marshall's grandmother, Dorcas (TURNER) Clarkson's ancestors. __________________________ <<< Jean, I don't have very much, hence the query.
