There are a couple of intermarriages to most of the lines, I'm sure, as my ancestry and relations in Fauquier go back to the 1600s. But, I have no real claim to any of the families I'm posting, and I'm sorry I can't really answer further inquiries on them, as I haven't researched them myself. I share 2 surnames with your, Heflin and Moore I know very little about the Moore family - William MOORE married to Adelaide Lincoln CARTER. They had a daughter named Dora Mae MOORE born about 1889 we think in Bedford VA and died in 1938 in Kensington, MD. Dora Mae is my great-grandmother. Catherine HEFLIN was married to William KEIRNES. Catherine is my gggg-grandmother. Each were born sometime around 1800. They had a daughter Mary Catherine KEIRNES born about 1833 in Fauquier Co. VA.
