Bond for both Dye/Greewood marriages was Fauntleroy Dye, so I assume Sarah also belongs to this family. Both Nimrod and Henry Greenwood went to Mercer KY shortly after their marriages. They were sons of Daniel Greenwood and Elinor Field of Fauquier. These are wonderful postings! You've hit a number of my husband's families--including Bushrod. He's descended from Griffin Fauntleroy and Ann Bushrod as well, through their daughter Judith Swann Fauntleroy who married George Boswell. Descendants of that family also went to Mercer Co. KY where Daniel Greenwood, probably the son of Nimrod (but could be Henry, though I don't think so) married Winifred Warren--of the Bushrod/Fauntletoy/Swann/Boswell lines. Daniel Greenwood and Winifred Warren were my husband's great great grandparents. A lot of Fauquier connections! Karen Dale Larkspur CO
This msg. caught my eye because of the Eidson connection. One of my ancestors is Margaret E. Eidson b. abt. 1830, m. to Jeremiah S. Balthrop on 12/30/1844 in Loudon Co., VA. If anyone knows any more about Margaret's ancestors, I would sure appreciate hearing from you.
