FYI There was a petition regarding disestablishment presented to the legislature called the 10,000 named petition. It was published in The Magazine of Virginia Genealogy within the last few years. I think it is on line at the Library of Congess web site. Does anyone recall? I think this took place about 1775 or so. Margaret R.
