I'm looking for more information on the Holtzclaw home on Holtzclaw Road, just outside of Warrenton, on Hwy 211. The name of the farm is Ashland Farm and John Gott wrote a short note about it several years ago. There are varying dates of the building home, from 1724 to 1740, and I'm wondering if someone on the list has more info, or if John Gott is on the list and would help me with this. I would like to find out when Jacob Holtzclaw bought the land that the home sits on and who the land was left to after Jacob's death in 1760. Thanks!
