About 1937 a relative was sent to the Federal Penitentiary in Petersburg, VA for bootlegging and was kept there about a year. Does anyone know how I might find our about his prison record? Just curious about his length of imprisonment and how they worded the exact reason for his incarceration. I believe this prison is in Fauquier Co. Is it still in existence? Any information will help. So click on the website above, go to inmate locator, then drop down about 2/3 of the page to "How do I find inmates released before 1982."
