Apparently I've missed some of the other posts about James Ferguson and Helen Matilda Edmonds. Albert/Alfred and Abner were children of James Ferguson by his first marriage. I also found a newspaper article in "The Washington Post" dtd Oct. 1, 1906: "The engagement of Miss Helen Ferguson daughter of the late Rev. Sydnor Ferguson, of Leesburg, to William Abbott Coleman of Appottamox, Va. is announced. The wedding will take place at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. James W.
