    3. I used to have the book on CD from Family Tree Maker but the CD broke. The book is made up of birth, marriage, and death's abstracted from the Society of Friends church records. It will give you the name, event and dates but you will have to search through the microfilmed copies of the handwritten records to find the actual information if you want it. It is a very useful book as it has a majority of the early records for most quaker meetings in the State in one place. The CD has six or seven large volumes covering several states from New York to North Carolina, all searchable by name. As Quakers kept good records and tended to mary others of the same faith, once you find a Quaker ancestor, this CD can be a gold mine. Every Morman Family History Center has a copy of the entire set of books on microfisch. They also can get microfilmed copies of most of the original record books.
