Julie: I originally thought she was an unweb mother (which may be the case) but then I found the attached document stating that son Joseph was killed in the Civil War. Patsy Ann is not living in the household of Jeremiah's Father in the 1850 census but is there in the 1860 census. Then she disappears .......I believe the James was my g-grandfather, he showes up in the Montgomery County, Md. census in 1880 (James Kendle) with his wife and children then he moved to Fayette County, Pa. and died in 1912.
