Yes, Elizabeth was a daughter of my direct line, William White Sr and wife Mary. William White Sr fought in French & Indian War under Capt. William Edmonds out of Fauqueir Co VA. He is listed in 1761 roster. William White born ca 1730, died ca Oct 1804 Haymarket, Prince William Co VA. Married 1st Mary ___ the mother of all of her children; 1.Elizabeth md Feb 28, 1786 James Bailey, son of Carr Bailey Sr who fought with William White Sr in Fr & In War. 2. Jemima/Mima md 1st George Greene Waddell Jan 10, 1791 Fauq.Co VA, md 2nd 1847 Stephen Wade Mason Co KY. 3. John White b 1753, Rev War soldier, md Ann White, thought to be his widowed step mother??? Needs more work to be sure. 4. William White Jr. Rev War soldier, S 1735 VA, born 10 Jan 1755, Pr Wm Co VA, died May 1833 Lincoln Co TN, md 1st unk. Md 2nd Elizabeth ___ born 1775 NC. [my direct line] 5. Nancy Ann b 1764 Fauq. Co md Oct 31, 1786 William Waddell Sr. 6. Hannah born ca 1765 Fauq. Co VA, md Dec 13, 1787 Thomas Russell James in Fauq. Co VA. 7. Sarah b ca 1768 Fauq. Co VA. md Aug 25, 1789 Fauq. Co VA. Lived in Pr Wm Co VA at least from 1804 to 1816. George was deceased before 1816. George was co-appraiser of estate of his father in law with Wm's neighbor, William Hunton, in 1804 and George sold the estate to William Hunton. 8. Carr White b ca 1777 Fauq. Co, married Nancy Donaldson, dau. of John, Feb 19, 1795. Carr was underage and his father made his X to allow the marriage. William White Sr. married 2nd Ann Bailey, widow of James Bailey. Am not sure whose son this James was. Need some help with my Bailey's. William White Jr. fought in Rev War with Carr Bailey Jr. There were many marriages between these two families. I have copy of Donna Beer's book on Southern Bailey's but it only mentions Elizabeth White's marriage to James Bailey, son of Carr Bailey Sr. No other White marriage. Donna Beer's also wrote a book about Northern Bailey family. Need to check that book too. Any help appreciated. Ginny Keefer
