Kincheloe, McPherson and Related Families: Their Genealogies annd Biographies by Lewis Dwinell McPherson, AB, AM copywrited 1951, by L.D. McPherson and Elizabeth McPherson. [Yet now posted on ancestry.com] Pg 50-51 Daniel Kincheloe is the second oldest American born Kincheloe for whom a public record of birth has been found. It is in the official register from 1672-1800 kept by the North Farnham Parish, Richmond [formerly Old Rappahannock Co] and parent counties, VA. and reads; Born, Daniel Kincheloe,son of John and Elizaebth Kincheloe, Jan 8, 1723/4. He served as a Captain in Prince William Militia in 1762. Daniel signed will July 16, 1776, proved Oct 17, 1785 Fairfax Co VA naming his second wife "Sukey" and her three children and his 8 children by his first marriage. The aid given by this will in arranging the children of the two marriages is found in some of the language quoted in the will: " if either of my three youngest children; Nestor, Hector or Jesse should die under 21 years, or without heirs of body---- if either of my sons; Robert or Cornelius, should die under the age of 21 years of age or without heirs of body...if a certain part of my father's estate, now in possession of my mother, which was devised to me by my father- after my mother's decease....I bequeath all my right, title and interest therein to my "Three youngest children of my former wife", namely Mary, Robert, and Cornelius, to be divided among them or the survivors of them.....and---- appoint my friend, William James Waugh of Fairfax Co VA, my executor----give to my son, Nestor, 'one half of my mill', and loan to my wife, sukey, for life " one half of my mill" with other personality to her and a life interest in my plantation I now live on, 180 aces, more or less. William Bailey Maswell Md 2nd Martha Jane Mathis b 12 Oct 1844 IRON CITY, LAWRENCE CO TN. William Bailey Maxwell Md 3rd Marriette Magdaline Hamblin b 17 May 1845 Nauvoo, Hancock, IL Martha Jane Mathis was dau. of Isaac Benjamin Mathis and Elizabeth Toss. She was born 12 Oct 1844 Iron City, Lawrence Co TN, buried 1 Sept 1857 Kline, LaPlata, CO. She married Wililam Bailey Maxwell above as his second wife. These are Mormon families above.
