To All: I am searching for anything, no matter how small, on EDWARD HARRELL, HARROLD etc. in Lancaster and surrounding counties between 1680 and 1750. Edward Harrold, Harrell married Margaret Brumwell in Christ Church Parish in 1707 and is reported to have children named; Thomas, Edward, Judith and Mary. All were born before 1725. Judith married William Green, Mary married __Hutson. Years later (date unknown) a letter was written stating that Edward Harrell, Harrold had disappeared and had been gone 30 or 40 years. He apparently owned a farm and had left it, not selling it or disposing of it. In 1729 an Edward Harrell buys a tract of land in Nansemond County, Va. near the North Carolina line.
